At the stunning Rock Meadow retreat in Herefordshire, the Storytellers' Getaway is a playful, sumptuous week of story magic for anyone who loves storytelling - whether you've been telling for years, or are just at the beginning of exploring what it could mean to share stories yourself. This will be a week of playing in the waters of story magic and imagination, with other story lovers, story makers, storytellers and story adventurers.

Facilitators:
Marcus Pibworth - is a storyteller based in the foothills of the Black Mountains in rural Herefordshire. He tells folktales, myths and wondertales that speak to timeless truths, the challenges of our times and the magic of being human. He has honed his craft under the guidance of many experienced mentors including Jan Blake, Daniel Morden, the School of Storytelling and many more. Marcus has performed across the UK and internationally, including at the Oxford Storytelling Festival and Buddhafield Festival; he is the founder of the Grey Wolf Story Cafe; and he runs applied storytelling workshops, including the Mythic Fathers Dads Circle, Rewilding the Story and many more from his storytelling yurt in Rock Meadow.
Hannah Moore - is a storyteller, facilitator, theatre-maker and restorative justice practitioner whose work centres on connection, creativity and wellbeing. Trained by the School of Storytelling on their flagship programme Storytelling Beyond Words, she has since taught, performed and facilitated with the organisation while bringing her storytelling practice into a wide range of creative and community contexts. With a background in theatre-making and event production, she specialises in creative workshops and social dance experiences that foster participation, connection and joy. Alongside this, her work as a restorative justice practitioner and mediator focuses on creating safe spaces for meaningful exploration, supporting restoration of connection, resilience, hope, emotional capacity and collective wellbeing.
